forward mutations
Мутации прямые — любые мутации в гене (аллеле) дикого типа к новому состоянию. Поскольку аллель дикого типа является, как правило, доминантным, то М. п. чаще всего рецессивные. Прямое мутирование выражается формулой А → а. Частота естественных и индуцированных М. п. в подавляющем большинстве случаев значительно выше частоты обратных мутаций (см. Мутации обратные).
